About the Team - MSU
The Market Strategy & Understanding (MSU) Service Line performs strategic research to deliver contextual understanding that helps clients navigate dynamic markets. Our portfolio consists of strategic brand research as well as category and consumer fundamentals. We work with clients to understand market size and composition, identify consumer segments, and uncover demand spaces. We also specialize in brand equity, brand assets, brand stretch, and identifying open category opportunities (e.g., whitespace). Responsibilities:
As a Research Executive, you will support the quantitative team on the day-to-day management of research projects throughout the entire project lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Proposal Support:
o Attend client meetings with the project manager to understand project needs and requirements.
o Support content creation for pitches, including proposal preparation and delivery using Ipsos solutions and tools.
o Assist in cost estimation to ensure proposals are competitive and cost-effective.
• Research Design & Execution:
o Assist the project manager in developing the project plan and designing questionnaires.
o Independently translate project questionnaires.
o Take responsibility for tracking and monitoring project progress and ensuring high-quality control throughout the project’s operation.
o Liaise with and manage operations teams and other counterparts to ensure projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget.
o Verify the accuracy of deliverables including data sets and reports.
• Analysis & Reporting:
o Prepare analysis plan for the project.
o Prepare report charts and write simple key findings.
o Assist senior team members in analyzing research data and secondary sources.
