Job Description: Midas Technologies is seeking highly motivated Core Trading Systems Engineer interns to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to research, design, develop, and maintain software systems that support our quantitative trading and research operations, using C++ as the primary programming language. Successful completion will lead to full-time employment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate with algorithmic trader-engineers and other system engineers to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet those needs 2. Optimize software systems for high performance and scalability 3. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for software development 4. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in software development and apply them to improve our systems 5. Write unit tests and perform debugging and troubleshooting as needed Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field 2. In penultimate or final year of study for internship eligibility 3. Strong knowledge of C++ and experience with C++14 and above 4. Experience with software development tools such as Git, Jira, and Visual Studio 5. Experience with Linux and Unix operating systems 6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills 8. Experience with financial market data and trading systems is a plus 9. Eligible to work in the People‘s Republic of China Compensation and Benefits: 1. Internship stipend starting at 1500 RMB / day, commensurate with experience and qualifications 2. Meals provided on working days 3.
