Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and service-oriented IT Intern to join our IT Support Center. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for internal users across global regions, providing multilingual support (primarily in English) for daily IT issues. This position is open to fresh graduates or candidates with limited IT experience, with training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first line of support for IT-related issues via phone, email, chat, and ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot basic problems in areas such as Windows OS, Office applications, email, network connectivity, remote access (VPN), and hardware devices.
• Log, categorize, and track support requests, ensuring timely resolution or proper escalation level 2/3 teams.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in English, supporting users from different regions and time zones.
• Assist in account management tasks such as password resets, access requests, and new employee onboarding.
• Contribute to and update knowledge base articles, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Ensure service quality and SLA compliance and participate in shift rotations if required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (final-year students or recent graduates are welcome).
• Strong communication skills in English (CET-4 or above, or equivalent practical ability).
• Familiarity with basic IT concepts (e.g., OS, applications, network, hardware).
• Customer-focused, with a positive and professional attitude.
• Willing to learn in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Team player with the ability to follow procedures and work independently when needed.
Preferred (but not required):
• Experience with IT support or helpdesk environments.
• Knowledge of ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk).
• Understanding of ITIL fundamentals (incident/request management).
