What you will be doing: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Conduct regular compliance reviews and assessments to identify potential risks and areas for improvement, including but not limited to anti-money laundering (AML), anti-bribery and corruption (ABC), and data privacy. Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends to keep abreast of changes that may impact Jumia's compliance obligations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, Operations, and Risk Management, to ensure a coordinated approach to compliance across the organization.
