The Role： As a software engineer for vehicle motion integration, you will be an integral part of shaping JLR’s next generation vehicle programs. In this role, you will contribute to the mission of delivering most innovative software solutions. You will be part of the team that drive product strategy and collaborate closely with engineering development and cross-functional teams to define and deliver on the next vehicle programs. Knowledge, Skills and Experience： Essential: · Experience with planning and control algorithm development with C/C++ · Experience with control algorithms include but not limited to PID, LQR or MPC algorithms with C/C++/Simulink · Experience with vehicle performance tuning in terms of planning and control module · Understanding of interaction of AAD systems to chassis, power train and body domain · Experience with tuning with counterparts to meet requirements · Working knowledge of Automotive bus communication, Diagnostics and DTC debugging · Fundamental knowledge of electronic hardware systems · A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience · Experience of internal ECU signal logging (e.g. XCP) Desired: · Experience with application development under Embedded environments; ECU/MCU knowledge like STM32, AURIX and control system development experience · ECU issue investigations including appropriate problem solving and reporting tools for signal interface, bus communication areas, result oriented and focusing on issue tracking and close loop · Experience in producing code designed for distributed architectures
